JNTUH Exemption Rule for R13 Batch Students  The JNTUH B.Tech R13 Batch students have an opportunity to exempt up to 8 credits. They cannot go beyond 8 credits.

Eligibility:

  • The student must register for 224 credits and the student must obtain 216 credits along with the compulsion subjects.
  • A student has an excuse to remove any two subjects in which he or she has failed. But it must be a theory subject.
  • A student shall not leave any Lab/Practical subject.
  • A student shall not leave two subjects in which any one of the subjects contains 6 credits. This means, if any subject has 6 credits, only that subject is allowed because only 8 credits are allowed as an exemption.
  • The rule of exemption is applicable for all the theory subjects including the First year.

Process for Applying Exemption:

The students have an option to skip two subjects or they have an option to skip a maximum of 8 credits.

  • If any student wants to exempt one or two subjects in which he or she has failed, he /she has to submit the undertaking form to the examination branch of the relevant college by filling it.
  • A student who wants to apply for the exemption, the undertaking is obligatory.
  • An application has to be written and the photocopy of SSC marks memo and all the semester’s marks memo (regular or supply) have to be attached by the students.
  • After attaching all the indicated documents, the application of the student for the exemption of one or two subjects is moved ahead to the Director of evaluation.
